At Friday’s HIA Recognition of Women in Industry Awards, Amelia Robertson won the 2016 Stylemaster Homes Bursary for Young Woman in Industry. These awards recognise the achievements of highly successful women in the industry.
Amelia, engaged on our Sunshine Coast team via East Coast Apprenticeships, is in her 3rd year as an Apprentice Carpenter. Her passion for the industry, and willingness to strive for success, shows through in her attitude to her work on a daily basis. “In such a male dominated industry, it’s exciting to see women take part in roles where they will ultimately become leaders one day in the future” said David Rutter, Director of Kane. Amelia’s next goal is to become a Site Manager which she is well on track to achieve.
