Kane secures D&C contract for Moore Theological College Sydney

Kane Constructions has been awarded the design and construct contract to deliver the $30 million Moore College Resource and Research Centre project.

Located at 1 King Street, Newtown, at the corner of King Street and Carillon Avenue, Moore College is the theological training college for the diocese of Sydney Anglican Church of Australia. 

The College is one of the largest Anglican seminaries in the world and houses Moore College Library, which is the largest theological library in the Southern Hemisphere. 

The proposed new building, comprising one basement level and 6 levels of building [approximately 7,800sqm GFA], is the first stage of a long term Master Plan for the coordinated redevelopment of the College. 

Designed by Allen Jack + Cottier Architects, works will commence shortly with completion in 2016.  Nix Anderson are representing Moore College.
