The Health and Rehabilitation Centre (H&RC) at Heidelberg Repatriation Hospital for Austin Health provides an integrated model that encompasses assessment, rehabilitation intervention and education services.
The project includes a hydrotherapy pool and two gymnasiums which are purpose built for community, inpatient and veterans use.
The building is a first stage of a full redevelopment of the site and sits adjacent to a Veterans Centre for Trauma Related Health also constructed by Kane.
Kane Constructions was appoitned in 2009 as COnstruction Manager to deliver the $12 million project. Works were completed in 2010.
