Construction of a new three level hospital wing comprising 66 beds and associated ancillary areas, strata titled consulting suites, retail shells and twelve new sessional rooms. The wing is linked to the existing hospital. Works also included an 18,000m2 multi-level semi-basement car park to accommodate 470 car spaces.
The $25 million project was delivered under a lump sum contract with works commencing in late 2009 and practical completionb achieved in early 2011.
The architect for the project was Billard Leece Partnership with whom Kane has completed numerous projects including the Grand Hyatt ($20m), St John of God Medical Suites Geelong ($12m) and the Royal Children's Hospital MCRI and associated works ($60m).
Kane has previously worked at the Knox Private Hospital campus having delivered a major refurbishment in 2003.
