Mt Druitt Hospital is part of the Western Sydney Local Health District (WSLHD). In conjunction with the significant expansion being undertaken at the Blacktown Hospital campus, the Mt Druitt campus is currently being upgraded to provide improved health facilities across the health region.
Kane Constructions was awarded the contract to deliver Stage 2 of the Renal and Drug Health facility in August 2016. The Project addressed key priorities on the Mt Druitt campus and included the design of all elements to comply with relevant standards and HI guidelines including the Health Facility Guidelines (HFG) and Process of Facility Planning (POFP). D
Works comprised a new single storey building adjacent to the existing privately owned facility, additional car parking to service the new Drug Health building, a new generator and new connection works to the existing Drug Rehab substation and a new Community Dialysis building.
Works were completed in mid-2017.
