University of Queensland ITEE Laboratory Refurbishment Axon & Hawken Buildings

The University of Queensland ITEE (Information Technology and Electrical Engineering) Laboratory Refurbishment project involved the demolition of existing laboratories bringing the areas back to structural shell and refurbishing the space with new state of the art laboratory facilities.

The laboratories will be used by both students and researchers in the fields of information technology and electrical engineering. The build included three new laboratory areas as well as a new meeting room, workshop, supervisor room, plant rooms, corridor and facade works.

This was a services intensive project with the bulk of the works being mechanical and electrical trades.
