Kane Constructions this week commenced work on a new state-of-the-art 25 metre Indoor Pool at Dalby on the Sunshine Coast, Queensland.
The centre will be constructed on the Patrick Street site adjacent to the existing outdoor pool complex.
The $4 million project features an indoor heated six lane pool, a learn to swim ledge, kiosk, spectator seating, change rooms, public lockers, male, female and disability amenities and a wheelchair access ramp.
When completed in early 2012, the redevelopment will also boast 30 additional car spaces, casual seating, access footpaths and ample lighting.
Kane was awarded the lump sum contract in August.
