Located adjacent the “mini-metropolis” that is the recently completed Sunshine Coast University Hospital, the new ambulance station currently under construction by Kane will service the local community as part of the region’s infrastructure upgrades. Works consist of an administration building, plant room, large car park and landscaping that blends in with the surrounding parklands. The new facility has the ability to accommodate twenty ambulances internally, training rooms, rest areas, together with day to day operational requirements. The project is on track for completion in mid 2017.
