Kane Construction has been awarded a $10 million contract to undertake further expansion works at Epworth Richmond.
This contract involves three packages of work, with the first being a Clinical Education & Simulation Centre to be built on Level 5 of the Leigh Place Building.
The second package of works includes the fit out of Level 4 Bridge Road Tower to deliver an evidence-base designed Day Oncology and Renal Dialysis Unit. Two prototype rooms will also be constructed to determine the best possible facilities for the future development.
It is anticipated the major redevelopment costing in excess of $600 million will commence at Epworth Richmond in 2013. Kane Construction has been awarded the early works management for this package.
