Geelong Library dome taking shape

Installation of the Glass Reinforced Concrete GRC) roof panels has commenced on our Geelong Library and Hertiage Centre project. This is a major project milestone and has certainly piqued the interest of the local community, not least Geelong Mayor Darryn Lyons (pictured left). 

The new Geelong Library and Heritage Centre will be a spectacular addition to Geelong’s architectural and cultural landscape.
It will be a nine-storey state-of-the-art facility with all the mod cons for today’s library user.

The unique dome design has been developed by renowned Melbourne firm, ARM Architecture. 

Kane Constructions was appointed in December 2013 to deliver high profile project.
