Kane Constructions has recently been awarded the third stage of works for the Sydney Grammar Prep School St Ives, on Sydney's north shore.
This follows the successful completion of stages 1 & 2 and highlights the continuing outstanding relationship developed with Sydney Grammar and project management firm Morgan Moore & Associates.
Stages 1 and 2 involved a combination of alterations and additions to existing classrooms as well as the construction of new classrooms, practical activity areas, maintenance facilities and extensive landscaping and civil works. Working within a fully operational school and to a tight program, the Kane team were faced with the many challenges associated with staged handover of buildings and the constant re-location of teachers and students.
After a 12 month period, the Kane team had successfully completed six buildings and were rewarded for their hard work with the next stage of works - to be started immediately!
Stage 3 involves the construction of a new two level Library and Administration building which will further add to the schools outstanding learning and teaching facilities. With handover expected in November 2010, both the Kane team and Sydney Grammar are looking forward to the delivery of another successful project.
The ongoing works for Sydney Grammar and Superintendent Morgan Moore & Associates highlights the mutual benefits derived from a commitment to building long-term relationships with our clients.
