Lord Mayor Graham Quirk recently visited our Anzac Square project to view the restoration works underway.
On Wednesday 15 October 2014, Lord Mayor Graham Quirk and Minister for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander and Multicultural Affairs, Glen Elmes, were announcing the new memorial to be located in Anzac Square, honouring Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander diggers. After the event, they came for a site walkaround where Kane are undertaking restoration works around the cenotaph.
Ben Fehervary, our Project Manager, was delighted to show Lord Mayor Graham Quirk and Minister Glen Elmes around the site, to give them an update on how the project is progressing, and to confirm we are on budget and on program for completion prior to Anzac Day 2015.
