Kane Constructions has been shortlisted to tender for the construction of the $46 million Ringwood Regional Aquatic & Leisure Centre in Melbourne, Victoria. The new facility has been designed by Peddle Thorp and is to be located on the site of the previous aquatic centre at Greenwood Avenue, Ringwood.

The centre will incorporate a 50 metre ten lane pool, diving pool, warm water pool, a dedicated learn to swim pool, a large gym with three separate group fitness rooms, dry diving training room, child care facilities and a cafe.

The facility is being developed for Maroondah City Council in partnership with the Victorian Government.

Works are due to commence later this year.

Kane has successfully delivered over 20 sports and aquatic centres including the recently completed Noble Park Aquatic Centre in Victoria and Dalby Aquatic Centre in Queensland.
