Work has commenced on the vertical expansion of Owen Dixon Chambers West in the Melbourne CBD for Barristers Chambers Limited.
The $27 million contract involves the addition of six new levels to the 19 level Owen Dixon Chambers West building located at 525 Lonsdale Street.
The original concrete framed building was constructed in 1985. The new addition comprises a precast core, structural steel frame with Hebel floor planks to reduce loads. The facade is a unitised curtain wall. The project includes an integrated 5000m2 fitout.
The building will remain fully occupied throughout construction.
