Site purchased for new QLD HQ

10th August, 2009

The new Kane Constructions Queensland Office will be constructed at Albion, Brisbane following the recent purchase of a 1200m2 site located opposite the Crosby Park in the city fringe suburb of Albion.

The property ticks all the boxes. 'As well as being a good sized parcel of land, good transport linkages north, south and west, were important to us.' Says Queensland General Manager David Rutter.

Construction of the three level 600m2 office building will commence shortly, with the design by East Office Architects incorporating a number of ESD principles.

Following the completion of a number of projects in Queensland during the 1990’s, an office was established in Brisbane in 2007. Kane Constructions (QLD) has since undertaken some of the city’s most iconic projects including the rejuvenation of King George Square and the restoration of Old Government House at the Queensland University of Technology.
