Kane Constructions has been appointed to deliver the early works package for the Arts West Redevelopment at University of Melbourne. The scope includes demolition of the existing multi-level building to make way for the exciting new $66 million facility.
The Arts West Redevelopment Project is the Faculty of Arts’ most significant infrastructure project in recent years and will enable the creation of new and dynamic teaching and learning spaces for staff and students.
Architectural team ARM&Architectus has designed Arts West as the new home of the Bachelor of Arts, giving undergraduate students access to world-class spaces, and equipping academic staff with a new purpose-built teaching and research environment.
Kane has a long history at University of Melbourne. Our recently completed Main Oval Pavilion won a Master Builders of Victoria Excellence in Commercial Construction Award.
