Kane Constructions has been awarded the Design & Construct contract to deliver the Hughes Street Multi-Storey Car Park located in the vibrant hub of Cabramatta.
The new car park, through its feature coloured custom designed screen façade, aims to celebrate the rich diversity of Cabramatta’s multicultural community.
The project scope includes the construction of a new 218-space two level car park, occupied over three levels inclusive of the ground floor at grade level.
The car park includes bicycle and motorcycle parking and will connect to the existing Dutton Lane multi-deck car park with access to a new lift and pedestrian connection to the existing Dutton Plaza lifts.
The car park features public amenities, solar panels and rainwater harvesting tanks.
The additional parking continues to support the economic health and ongoing vibrancy of Cabramatta.
With the addition of this new car park, it is expected to provide an additional 350,000 parking spaces per year.
Works will commence on-site in January 2020 and take approximately nine months to complete.
