November marked a year of construction on Bendigo’s future law courts. Kane Constructions and joint venture partner Nicholson Construction (KNJV) are currently delivering the $152 million landmark civic building in Bendigo.
Built over five levels and a basement, the future law courts will include courtrooms, hearing rooms, mediation suites, custody holding cells, remote witness facilities, bookable meeting spaces, and dedicated workspaces for several agencies.
The project will reach an exciting milestone this week with the topping out of the building. Currently the roof steel is being erected, and the basement and ground floor are roughing in. The façade steel is next to commence.
Scheduled for completion in late 2022, operations in the new building will commence in 2023.
