Presenting the revitalised Bendigo TAFE City Campus.
Kane Constructions and joint venture partner Nicholson Construction (KNJV) delivered the $50 million dollar project in August 2021. The project was staggered over multiple stages, with works delivered across seven buildings.
Director of Nicholson Construction Dean Stevens, and Geoff Purcell, Director of Kane Constructions discuss their experience delivering the project in a live environment, and the strong relationship formed with the joint venture team.
Geoff Purcell, Director, Kane Constructions states “The Nicholson and Kane Constructions team worked together with the local subcontractors to achieve the clients’ desired outcome. The outcome is a significant redevelopment of the TAFE’s Bendigo City Campus, providing fantastic regional facilities for many years to come.”
Dave Richardson, Head of Campus at Bendigo TAFE shares his experience working with the Kane Nicholson team, and particularly the positive outcomes the new building will generate:
“The changes we have seen here at Bendigo TAFE are quite extraordinary. The TAFE was a fairly tired eclectic mix of old buildings. After this latest transformation, and the works completed by Kane Nicholson, it’s now a modern, contemporary, sophisticated site for all walks of life from our community to gain valuable skills and training to enter into the workforce.”
The Kane Nicholson team look forward to seeing this major facility in the heart of Bendigo becoming operational and serving the community for many years to come.
