As proud National Partners of Oxfam since 2003, Kane Constructions supports the mantra that “all lives are equal and no-one should live in poverty”. For this reason, the Kane New South Wales team was very happy to volunteer again for the Oxfam Trailwalker 100km event.
Each year this challenge represents an opportunity for participants to “achieve something extraordinary” testing their own physical and mental boundaries, whilst contributing towards ending poverty. To date the Oxfam walk has raised over $96 million since its inception in 1999.
This year, the Sydney Oxfam leader board showed 440 teams participated in the 100km event, with over $1.5 million raised. One member of the Kane New South Wales team hit the trail from Brooklyn to Balgowlah Heights, whilst other members were up in the early hours of the morning to manage the traffic flow for drop off, parking, walkers and support crew for the event.
Kane is proud to assist Oxfam with their journey to represent those affected by marginalisation and injustice.
Kane sincerely look forward to continuing our partnership in 2023.
