On Friday 23rd June, Master Builders Association of Victoria hosted the 2023 Master Builders Victoria Regional Building Awards - Western Region in Geelong, Victoria.
Kane Constructions, in collaboration with our Joint Venture partner Nicholson Construction (Kane Nicholson), we have been been awarded with the Excellence in Construction of Commercial Buildings over $20 million award for our Bendigo TAFE City Campus Revitalisation Project.
Kane Nicholson is extremely proud of what the partnership has delivered for the local Bendigo community and the project truly represents our commitment to excellence. The project has refreshed the campus and embraces the rich history of Bendigo TAFE in the community and its continued vision to train and skill a workforce for the future.
The Bendigo TAFE City Campus Revitalisation project truly represents our commitment to excellence. It encompasses a perfect blend of new and refurbished heritage-listed buildings. Notable features of this revitalised campus include state-of-the-art bakery and restaurant training facilities, a cutting-edge hair, beauty, and barbering salon, a modern library, a rehabilitation gym, a life skills laboratory, and an Indigenous education center.
A key highlight of the redevelopment was the remarkable collaboration with the local community. We are immensely proud to have partnered with Djandak and the Dja Dja Wurrung Clans Aboriginal Corporation to incorporate Dja Dja Wurrung cultural elements and knowledge across the building façade and landscaping. This collaboration has resulted in a truly inclusive and culturally rich environment.
