In a testament to our team’s expertise and dedication, Kane Constructions NSW is proud to announce the completion of the $10 million Tumbalong Green Stage Upgrade project. This significant achievement marks a new era for the harbourside precinct of Darling Harbour, promising a revitalised venue for a myriad of community and entertainment activities, as part of the NSW Government initiative.
The project, a collaborative effort between Kane and Darling Harbour Live, showcases our experience in utilising Glued Laminated Timber (Glulam) and extensive experience in community sector projects. Designed by Hassell, the upgraded stage is set to host a diverse range of events, including live concerts, performances, festivals, exhibitions, and various community gatherings.
With its state-of-the-art design and construction, the incorporation of Glulam not only underscores the project's commitment to sustainability but also enhances the aesthetic appeal and functionality of the space. This modern performance hub is expected to draw significant crowds, fostering a vibrant cultural scene and is set to be a leading, as well as iconic and high profile entertainment venue in the heart of Darling Harbour.
Kane takes great pride in the completion of the Tumbalong Green Stage Upgrade as it is more than just a construction milestone; it represents a rejuvenation of one of Sydney’s key public spaces. The stage's grand opening is eagerly anticipated by the community, with the promise of an exciting line-up of events that will breathe a vibrant new life into the precinct.
