Kane Constructions, in partnership with Inner West Council, AFL NSW/ACT, RPI, have embarked on an ambitious project to transform Henson Park into a state-of-the-art sporting and community facility. This significant upgrade will establish Henson Park as the new home ground for the Sydney Swans & GWS Giants AFLW women's teams.
Highlights of the project include a revamped King George V Memorial Grandstand, featuring modernised change rooms, enhanced amenities, and improved accessibility. The facelift extends to external paving and landscaping, ensuring the park is both functional and visually appealing.
This transformation aims to make Henson Park a central venue for sporting and community events, providing a boost to the Inner West community by fostering local pride and engagement.
