Kane Constructions NSW has been awarded the contract to develop a cutting-edge Government Services building in Picton. This exciting venture is a key component of Wollondilly Shire Council's visionary master plan, aimed at creating a dynamic precinct that serves as a central hub for the local community.
The new Government Services building, designed by Williams Ross Architects, promises to be a beacon of modern design and functionality. The four-storey building will feature an array of flexible spaces tailored to meet various needs. The development will include a basement for car parking, dedicated zones for Council staff, a customer service workspace, and a public ground floor area equipped with essential amenities. Additionally, it will offer versatile meeting spaces and commercial lettable areas, ensuring it caters to a diverse range of activities and services.
Wollondilly Shire Council's plan is to transform the precinct into a vibrant centre that not only fosters cultural expression and civic engagement but also stimulates business activity. This new facility will play a pivotal role in achieving this vision, providing a state-of-the-art environment where community members can convene, collaborate, and thrive.
Due for completion in 2026, Kane is looking forward to collaborating with Wollondilly Shire Council on this landmark project.
