Kane reflects on another successful year of our Lean In program

29th November, 2024

Today marked the conclusion of another impactful year for Kane Constructions Lean In program, a key initiative designed to support and empower women within the business. The Victorian Lean In, women in construction group came together to celebrate and reflect on the past year's successes. The event featured a keynote address by Skye Crawford, Advisor to the Kane Board, who shared valuable insights from her inspiring career journey.

The Lean In program continues to empower and support the women within our business and has been a cornerstone of our commitment to fostering a culture where women can thrive, excel, and connect in meaningful ways.

Throughout the year, this program has provided a supportive platform for our female team members, enabling on-site meetings that encourage collaboration, learning, and professional development. These sessions not only help foster a sense of community but also provide opportunities for networking and peer engagement, allowing participants to share experiences and build relationships across our projects.

Kane's partnership with the National Association of Women in Construction (NAWIC) further underscores its commitment to gender diversity and professional development. Through this partnership, all Kane employees receive complimentary NAWIC memberships, providing access to industry events, learning opportunities, and professional networks.

As we look forward to 2025, we are excited to continue growing and empowering diversity across Kane and arete. Together, we are building not just exceptional projects, but also a more inclusive and supportive future for our team.
