The sun smiled down on Sydney for the much-anticipated annual Sydney City2Surf fun run last Sunday. The 14km course stretches from the bustling CBD to the golden sands of Bondi Beach.
From its humble beginnings in 1971 with just over 2,025 participants the City2Surf is now the largest fun run in the world. Fast forward to 2024, the event saw an extraordinary turnout of nearly 90,000 runners for its 52nd edition. Among them once again was a dedicated team of runners from Kane NSW.
This iconic event attracts a wide variety of participants, from elite athletes to casual joggers, families and corporate teams. Remarkably, the 2024 edition has already amassed over $3.4 million in donations, supporting more than 500 charitable causes.
The team conquered the challenging "heart break hill", pushing themselves to the limit to triumphantly cross the finish line and set new personal records.
Congratulations to our NSW team who showcased their unwavering commitment once again!
