Kane Constructions is proud to announce the completion of the highly anticipated $39 million Evans Street, Sunbury Multi-Level Car Park project. This development is set to transform Sunbury's infrastructure, enhancing its appeal as a prime location for business investment and providing much-needed parking solutions for the growing community.
The new multi-level car park, strategically located to serve the Sunbury Town Centre precinct, features a modern four-storey structure with 693 parking spaces. Of these, 428 are dedicated to commuters, while 265 are allocated for short-term use, ensuring convenience for both daily travellers and visitors to the area.
Key features of the car park are:
- Modern Design: The four-storey building is equipped with 693 car parking spaces, catering to both commuters and short-term users.
- Enhanced Accessibility: Two dedicated lift and stairwell cores located on the northern and eastern sides of the structure provide easy pedestrian access.
- Future-Proof Construction: The car park is designed to accommodate future developments and infrastructure needs, ensuring long-term usability.
The project presented unique challenges, including construction around the rail corridor and existing power infrastructure. Despite these obstacles, the Kane Constructions team successfully delivered a future-proof car park that meets the current and anticipated needs of the Sunbury community.
In addition to providing ample parking for commuters, the new car park increases availability for shoppers and visitors, supporting the vibrant Sunbury Town Centre. This development marks a significant step in Sunbury's evolution as a hub for business attraction and investment.
Kane Constructions extends its gratitude to the Hume City Council, MGS Architects, Meinhardt Group, and Waterman AHW for their unwavering support and collaboration throughout the construction process.
This project underscores Kane Constructions’ commitment to delivering high-quality infrastructure solutions that meet the needs of growing communities.
