Kane Constructions is proud to be delivering the expansion of Angliss Hospital in Ferntree Gully, awarded as a Lump Sum contract by Eastern Health in May 2024.
This significant development forms part of Eastern Health’s broader master plan to meet the growing demand for acute healthcare services in Melbourne’s outer eastern suburbs. Once complete, the new four-storey building will enhance the hospital’s capacity and support improved patient outcomes.
The structure is rapidly taking shape, supported by the expertise of our delivery partners Paul Caelli Formwork and AMA Precast. Designed by Meinhardt Group, the build incorporates conventionally formed slabs with post-tensioning, double-height precast columns and large precast shear walls, some weighing up to 11 tonnes.
Architecturally, the building draws on the natural surrounds of the Dandenong Ranges, with an emphasis on access to natural light, patient care and staff wellbeing.
The project remains on track for completion in 2026 and Kane is proud to contribute to a facility that will benefit the community for years to come.
