Kane Constructions, in joint venture with Nicholson Construction, is proud to have officially broken ground on the Ballarat Major Events Precinct project.
This transformative development, part of the Victorian Government's Regional Sports Infrastructure Program, will elevate the precinct into a leading destination for sport and community activity in the region.
The project includes the expansion of Mars Stadium, adding 5,000 new permanent seats to bring the total seated capacity to 10,000. A brand-new athletics track and pavilion will be delivered on the former Ballarat Showgrounds site, featuring lighting, landscaping and a dedicated storage facility. The precinct will also benefit from upgraded accessible pathways and landscaping to ensure an inclusive and welcoming experience for all visitors.
