Kane Constructions’ NSW team had the pleasure of welcoming young people from Redfern Youth Connect to the newly completed Parramatta Eels NRL Centre of Excellence and Community Facility in Kellyville.
This special visit provided a first-hand look at the state-of-the-art facility delivered by Kane, which now serves as the official home of the Parramatta Eels and a vital space for community engagement.
The day began with an exclusive behind-the-scenes tour of the high-performance centre. The group explored a wide range of facilities, including a 1,500-seat grandstand, elite-level gym and training spaces, medical and rehabilitation suites, aquatic recovery pools, a lecture theatre, multiple meeting rooms, administration offices, a café and spacious open-air terraces. The design reflects a strong commitment to both sporting excellence and community connection.
After the tour, the group enjoyed fresh pizza before heading to the field for the highlight of the day, meeting the Parramatta Eels players. The team generously gave their time, signing jerseys and posters, taking photos, and chatting with the young people.
Audrey from Redfern Youth Connect shared that “The kids were on a high after meeting all the players.”
Kane would like to thank the Parramatta Eels and our dedicated project team for making this day possible. We are proud to support Redfern Youth Connect and their ongoing work to empower young people and support families within the Redfern community.
