Some members of the Kane NSW team, alongside JDH Architects recently had the privilege of visiting Stella Maris College, Manly to present a "Consider Construction" session to the Year 10 students.
Our goal was to introduce the students to the wide range of career opportunities within the construction industry and inspire them to consider these options after school. Recognising that everyone’s journey is different, we aimed to provide them with the knowledge and confidence to explore the many exciting and varied paths available in construction.
A key message of the session was encouraging young women to see themselves in construction, a field where diversity is not only needed but celebrated. The students were also shown a flythrough video of the new Creative Arts Building, a project Kane is currently completing at Stella Maris College. It was exciting for them to see their future building come to life in 3D, deepening their connection to this new addition to their school.
