The Angliss Hospital Stage 2 expansion was awarded to Kane as Lump Sum contract of $76 million in May 2024. The project is a vital part of Eastern Health’s master plan, aimed at meeting the growing demand for acute services and establishing Angliss Hospital as a premier elective surgery hub.
The project will deliver a new four-level acute services building, featuring:
- A 32-bed inpatient unit
- Four state-of-the-art operating theatres
- A new central sterile supply department
- Expanded outpatient and allied health services
The design, inspired by the nearby Dandenong Ranges, aims to enhance patient care and staff working conditions through natural light and a comfortable environment.
The project is scheduled for completion in 2026.
