Kane Constructions was awarded the Design and Construct contract for the Buderim Mountain State School's New Multipurpose Hall project in partnership with the Department of Education and Ranbury.

This initiative encompassed the construction of an indoor multipurpose hall with covered link access to adjacent Building 13, external rear stage access, and a commercial kitchen featuring a covered external queuing area.

The project involved significant demolition work and heritage elements that needed careful consideration. The removal works included the staff carpark, basketball courts, existing stairs, and paths leading from the oval to the Arboretum.

Given the school's operational environment, Kane strategically planned the project to minimise disruptions to daily activities for staff, students, and stakeholders alike. Transparent communication and proactive coordination ensured all parties were well-informed about construction progress and potential impacts, maintaining a harmonious and efficient workflow throughout the project's lifecycle.
