Kane Constructions, in partnership with the Department of Education and Ranbury, has been awarded the Design and Construct contract for the new Multipurpose Hall at Buderim Mountain State School.
The project encompasses the construction of an indoor multipurpose hall, covered link access to Building 13, a new hydrant booster system with associated pipework, and the conversion of existing bike racks into secure caged storage.
Demolition works will include the removal of the staff car park, basketball courts, and existing pathways and stairs from the oval to Arboretum. Additionally, three heritage-listed trees will be removed under an approved heritage exemption due to site constraints.
The project will be undertaken within an operational school environment, with ongoing efforts to minimise disruptions to staff, students, and stakeholders.
