In September 2021, Kane Constructions was awarded the contract by NSW Ambulance to build the Central Ambulance Station on Parramatta Road, Forest Lodge. This project is a key component of the Sydney Ambulance Metropolitan Infrastructure Strategy.
With an investment of $184 million, this initiative aimed to create a vital hub for ambulance operations, logistics, and staff amenities.
Key aspects of the project include:
- Capacity to accommodate 30 ambulance vehicles and three ambulance motorcycles.
- Dedicated to serving metropolitan Sydney communities.
- Designed to improve operational efficiency and logistics for NSW Ambulance.
Kane has a strong track record, having successfully completed six ambulance stations for NSW Health Infrastructure. The Central Sydney Ambulance Station stands as their largest and most ambitious project to date.
