In the fourth quarter of 2019, Kane Constructions was awarded the $3M Lump Sum contract to deliver the Deakin University Building LA & LB Cladding Replacement project.
Works involved the replacement of combustible cladding and refurbishment of non-combustible cladding on two buildings at the Deakin University Burwood campus. The existing combustible cladding was removed and replaced with Mondoclad solid aluminium cladding. The non-combustible cladding was removed, cleaned and re-instated. The existing substructure was also rectified as part of the works.
Works were completed in May 2020.
