In October 2022, Kane Constructions was awarded the $27 million Design and Construct contract for the Deakin University Waterfront Multi-level Car Park Main Works in Geelong.
The goal of the project was to create living architecture, with particular emphasis on sustainable construction materials, to create a visually interesting building that integrates with the existing landscape. The project encompassed the construction of a cutting-edge four-level multi-deck car park, providing a total of 250 car spaces.
In addition to meeting parking needs, it features state-of-the-art amenities such as electric vehicle charging stations, a fully-equipped gym, and a serene yoga studio. Plus, an activated laneway adds a vibrant touch, perfect for hosting market stalls or exciting university/public events.
The project reached Practical Completion by the end of 2023, delivering exceptional results for the local community.
