In July 2018, Kane Constructions was awarded an $11.7M contract to deliver a new office fitout for the Department of Defence.
The project involved the demolition and fitout of eight levels of the R7 office building in Russell, ACT. The works were essential to addressing aging infrastructure and maintenance issues, ensuring the building could effectively support the mission and accommodation requirements of the Defence Intelligence Organisation.
Completed in 2021, the project successfully revitalised the space, delivering a modern, functional workplace that meets the strategic needs of the Department of Defence.
