Kane Constructions was appointed in early 2012 to deliver this $7 million project which involved the construction of an extension to the Docklands Studios Melbourne.
Working with Major Projects Victoria and architects Benier Francis, works were carefully programmed such that studio operations were not disrupted.
Poor ground conditions necessitated driven precast piles whilst the structure includes a mix of in-situ concrete, traditional precast panels and hollow-core.
