Major redevelopment of the Frankston Hospital located in Melbourne.
The project comprised 6000m2 of new and redeveloped space including two additional surgical theatres and the refurbishment of the existing four theatres, a new surgical reception/waiting area, Endoscopy and Day Surgery facilities along with an expanded Central Sterilising Supply Department, new centralised 33 bed ward, seven chair recovery suite, 13 bed Intensive Care Unit, Cardiac Angiography facilities and Pharmacy.
Construction works were undertaken whilst the hospital remained operational. Extensive planning, a proactive and open approach along with clear lines of communications ensured a successful outcome for all parties.
Kane completed the $33 million lump contract in 2010.
