GE Integrated Fitout, Springfield

Kane was awarded the contract for the design and construction of GE Queensland’s new state headquarters in Springfield.
 
Designed to amalgamate GE’s various departments into a single location the open plan office introduces an ‘agile’ workplace for GE and saw Kane deliver a turnkey office, including workstations and loose furniture, specialised meeting and collaboration areas, custom timber joinery and an integrated AV/IT package featuring Server and Communications rooms and a complete redundant power system.
 
Conceived as an integrated fitout, works were undertaken simultaneously with base building works at the commercial development in Springfield and handed over within the original project program.
