In December 2015 Kane completed the $5M Early Works package in preparation for the $79M Design & Construct Stage 4 Redevelopment Main Works package which is currently under construction.
The key aspects of the project included the demolition of the Brownlow and Jennings Stands and demolition of the Bob Davis Entry Gate, including current Cats Shop and Membership Shop.
The project scope also included the establishment of suitable temporary accommodation for areas of the GFC's operations impacted by the demolition of existing facilities including the temporary gantry for the media and broadcasters.
Works were carried out while the facility remained fully operational.
Kane delivered the Reg Hickey Stand in 2005 and the Player's Stand and light towers in 2013.
