GP Super Clinic Sunshine Coast

KHA Development Managers engaged Kane Constructions on behalf of Ochre Health to design and construct a $7 million GP Super Clinic at Sippy Downs on the Sunshine Coast. The concept was the first of its kind on the Sunshine Coast and complements the growing health infrastructure in the region. The project provided over 3,000m2 of commercial floor space across six tenancies and 5,500m2 of landscaped car park area. The two storey building accommodates a large number of doctor consultation rooms, student training facilities, multiple medical specialists and a coffee shop.  

The building stands proudly on the corner of Sippy Downs Drive and has been designed to maximise street exposure for the business occupants whilst taking advantage of the outlook to neighbouring vegetation. Clever use of awnings, roof structure and a welcoming covered promenade area resulted in a building that is both aesthetically pleasing and energy efficient – key project goals that Kane invested time and effort into.   

The GP Super Clinic was a successful project that met all stakeholders’ expectations. The building and its services will be an integral part of the local community for many years to come.
