Kane Constructions has been awarded the $106 million Design and Construct contract to deliver the Iglu William Street Student Accommodation.
The project consists of twin towers rising 10 and 20 levels, respectively, and includes a total of 485 rooms, comprising 443 studios and 21 twin-shared rooms, accommodating up to 485 students. This 24-storey development, inclusive of a basement level, exemplifies modern architectural design tailored to meet the needs of student residents.
Situated at 360 William Street, the site benefits from proximity to key public transportation options, including Flagstaff Gardens Station and a nearby tram stop, both approximately 150 meters away. This prime location within the City of Melbourne Local Government Area offers easy access to the city’s amenities and educational institutions.
