The Mentone Grammar Sports & Function Centre is a sophisticated yet welcoming and engaging school building for students and school community.
Netball/Basketball, Badminton, Volleyball and Indoor Soccer including student Dining/Function room is located at ground level overlooking school grounds. The first floor level includes a PE classroom and Gymnasium/Weight Room and a large tiered viewing area. The Centre is clad in high quality materials and compliments the rest of campus. Sensitively sited to minimise impact on the cricket ground and memorial gardens, and preserves visitors access through the school to nearby chapel and established gums.
This $5 million lump sum project was delivered by Kane Constructions in 2005.
