A two level luxury residence located in Portsea, Victoria, the project was delivered under a fixed price lump sum contract in 2000.
Comprising a high standard of finishes including Zinc cladding and granite mass walls - sourced from locally produced stone - with timber panel ceilings and extensive areas of glazing. The house is set over two levels with a swimming pool that extends out of the ground at one end.
Set within high garden walls constructed from stone and rendered blockwork, and with extensive hard and soft landscaping, the house remains a highly private space.
The Kane Constructions Project Team worked closely with Wardle architects to ensure only the best possible standard of finishes was achieved. The 400m2 residence was constructed within the $2m budget and delivered on time to a very pleased client.
The Mornington Peninsula Residence is one of many collaborations between Kane Constructions and Wardle including CSIRO Building 1 and the Isaacson Davis Residence, Balnarring.
