The Performing Arts Centre (PAC) project provides PLC with a new iconic building that is available for use by all year levels and staff members. The facility provides PLC with a state of the art music and drama facility incorporating a 550 seat auditorium, three large rehearsal rooms, drama classroom and multiple studio teaching spaces.

The four storey PAC building is a light, bright and open space facility, planned around an internal street and maximises the views to the neighbouring hockey field and sports oval.

This is a major undertaking that provides new facilities of high architectural merit.

The centre enables students to fulfil their potential by providing them with exemplary performance, rehearsal, teaching, social and community exchange environments that offers a performance and learning platform where components of the arts, the visual, musical and the dramatic can be created, shared and showcased.

The four distinct building components include:

  • The central 550 seat music recital auditorium
  • The northern wing building housing the primary rehearsal rooms
  • The eastern wing building housing the music studio spaces and teaching classrooms
  • The internal street, a circulation system that connects the teaching spaces and creates a series of event platforms across multiple levels

This project reached Practical Completion in March 2017.
