Kane Constructions has been engaged by Logan City Council under a Lump Sum contract to redevelop the Logan City Council Queens Road Animal and Pest Depot.

The project involves construction of a new 17,000m² Animal Management Centre (AMC) that will enhance community services, including animal care programs, graffiti and pest services, the education & systems services unit, and amenity safety & parking response units.

Kane is delivering the new facilities which includes six new buildings, as well as refurbishment of several existing buildings that include:

  • A new administration building
  • Cattery
  • Cat sales
  • Kennels
  • Dog sales
  • A community veterinary clinic
  • Various plant parking
  • Maintenance facilities
  • Multiple carparks
  • Associated access roads and extensive external works

The project will be completed in three separable portions while maintaining 24/7 operations at the facility.
