This project involved the design and construction of a new 9,000 seat grandstand and the installation of lights at Simonds Stadium in Geelong - home of the Geelong Football Club.
Kane Constructions was appointed in January 2012. Upon completion the redevelopment saw the Stadium's capacity increase to approximately 33,500 and included improved facilities for spectators, plus a Community Wellness and Education Centre which has become the focal point of the Club's community programs.
Works were completed ready for the first home game under lights in May 2013.
Kane completed the Reg Hickey Stand in 2004.
