Kane Constructions was awarded the St John of God Berwick, Langmore Centre Refurbishment in mid-2021.
St John of God Langmore Centre (SJGLC) is a private mental health hospital located south-east of Melbourne. The facility provides comprehensive and holistic mental health care services.
The $12 million dollar refurbishment transforms the former St John of God Berwick Hospital into a new excellence in mental health care facility.
The project scope included the demolition, new build and refurbishment of the site to create a new 60-bed mental health facility.
The project delivers both new build and refurbishment works to the following areas:
- 12-bed perinatal wing (new build)
- 7-bed special wing (refurbishment)
- 14-bed MHAOD wing (refurbishment)
- 27-bed adult wing (refurbishment)
The project was delivered in the third quarter of 2022.
