Another typical Kane project that consisted of the full internal demolition of the existing administration building in order for it to be refurbished and extended.
This project was competitively tendered on and eventually won by Kane after weeks of negotiations. A key factor that had to be taken into account was the structural integrity of the roof had to be maintained and propped at all times throughout the works until it was feasible to install permanent supports.
The rest of the school was operational throughout the construction phase which led to the establishment of Kane’s well thought out traffic management plan. This enabled the safe delivery of equipment and materials while maintaining the upmost safety for the student, teachers and members of the public.
